Day 1: Into the Desert

In the morning, depart by grand taxi towards Erg Lihoudi, passing through the stunning Draa Valley. Upon arrival, meet your team of local nomadic guides and camel handlers. After preparations, begin your trek towards Mozmo, where we will set up camp near the small dunes. Enjoy a traditional nomadic dinner with Saharan songs and dances under the stars.

Day 2: The Journey Continues

At sunrise, we resume our trek towards Oued Naam (Ostrich River), stopping for lunch along the way. In the afternoon, the caravan continues its journey towards the dunes. As the sun sets, experience a traditional tea ceremony before helping prepare a delicious tagine with the camel handlers. Spend the night under a starry desert sky or inside a cozy nomadic tent.

Day 3: Deep into the Sahara

After a Bedouin-style breakfast by the fire, the caravan moves towards Oued Laatach (River of Thirst). Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the desert, followed by a mint tea break on the golden dunes. As night falls, savor a peaceful dinner under the vast silence of the Sahara and rest in your tent.

Day 4: Campfire & Nomadic Traditions

The desert expedition continues, with a picnic lunch along the way. In the evening, set up camp and prepare dinner with the nomads. Gather around a large campfire to share songs, dances, and stories, embracing the true spirit of nomadic life beneath a sky full of stars.

This desert trek can be done on foot or by camel, depending on your preference. The journey is guided by experienced nomads who know the desert like the back of their hands. The trek is accessible to all, with 5 to 6 hours of walking per day at a relaxed pace. Meals are freshly prepared in the traditional way, including bread baked in the sand, Moroccan salads, tagine, unlimited nomadic tea, and fresh fruits.

Day 5: Return to Civilization

After breakfast, the caravan makes its way back to M’Hamid, marking the end of the trek. Transfer to Zagora around 11 AM. From there, you can continue your journey back to Marrakech at your own pace.
