Public Transportation Options

CTM Bus

There is usually one direct CTM bus per day from Zagora to M’Hamid.

• Price: Approx. 40 MAD per person

• Departure Location: CTM bus station in Zagora

• Booking: CTM.ma or at the local agency in Zagora

Note: Seats are limited and it’s recommended to book early during peak season (October–April).

Grand Taxi (Shared Taxi)

For budget travelers, the grand taxi is a shared transport option available in most Moroccan towns.

• Route: Zagora → M’Hamid (direct), or via Tagounite

• Cost: Around 40–50 MAD per person

• Departure: Taxis leave once full (6 passengers total)

• Duration: Around 1.5 to 2 hours

• Comfort: Basic – no A/C, limited luggage space

You can also pay for extra seats if you want to leave earlier or ride more comfortably.

Flight + Ground Transfer

You can fly from Casablanca to Zagora with Royal Air Maroc (flights available on select days). Once you arrive in Zagora, we can pick you up for the remaining 1.5-hour transfer to M’Hamid.

This is a great option if you want to avoid the long drive from Marrakech or Ouarzazate.
